Think we have finally settled on a Boys Name?

I am 22 weeks pregnant, and although we have a girls name sorted, both me and my hubby was stuck for a boys name to go with our very short surname.





We think Lewis Alexander works well - what do you think of this name?





Any other middle name suggestions would be nice x

What a smart, traditional name. Your son is very lucky!
Reply:Lewis Alexander is really nice! It has that ring, and is uncommon enough that there won't be any other Lewis's- and if there are they may spell it Louis or something, but it's not too weird just Apple or Blanket.





Lewis Henry also goes quite nicely, but I'm not sure if that would go with your surname. If it was Day it would (eg)- lewis Henry Day. But it's most probably not.

i would say they go nice together as like me you chose along and short name .i have jamie lewis and alexander david....

Reply:Very nice! I prefer the spelling Louis, but that's just a nitpick. If you have anyone you'd like to honour in your family tree, the middle name is a perfect place to use their name. Nice choice! You kid will thank you for not naming him something stupid.
