could you get away with Milo as a nickname for Michael?

What do you think of this boys name?
Like Miles, and yes you could use Milo as a nn instead of Mike or Mikey.
Reply:I like Miles, I always thought Milo had something about it, until I met someone called milo, and I didn't really like them, so my view of that name went down hill.





Hmm I'm sure you could call a Michael Milo, but people may be confused as to why! You could certainly shorten Michelangelo to Milo but that's more like two names...





Or if you gave him a middle name that started Lo, like.. Logan? or ending in Lo, like ... Apollo :S *thinks* It's a tricky one, but if you could give a more obvious reason for Milo, than just from Michael, it may be easier for people to "accept" as it were.





But I do like the name Michael, and I like the name Miles.

And yea u prolly could get away with Milo as a nickname for Michael, but Mike or Mikey would be what most people who proly wanna call him for a nickname, but if u want Milo as the nickname u'll hafta tell everyone that.
