Can anyone suggest a middle name to go with Connor as a first name. The baby's surname will be 'Henn'.
My baby is due in June 2007. For a boys name I like Connor but what middle name to go with this?

What about Patrick (continue with the Irish theme) or David. I think a name with 2 syllables rolls nicely off the tongue with Connor XX Henn

Reply:my baby is due the same time. what is your husbands second name if you want put your husbands second name after connor and see what it sounds like good luck. that's what i done my boys name is eoin and i gave him the second name as patrick my husbands second name
Reply:Why bother with a middle name unless it is going to be something meaningful??
If you really want to give him one, maybe use a family name (Father/granfather/deceased %26amp; cherished relative or friend)
My husbands middle name is his mothers maiden name as she belongs to a scottish clan and wanted to pass on the heritage, think this is a lovely idea for any maiden name...why shouldn't we get to pass our family name on!! :-)
Otherwise, Connor Henn is a great name on its own, good choice!

Reply:Although it's up to you, you should know that Connor (with 2 Ns) is a surname. When used as a forename it is usually spelt Conor.
If you really want to go "Gaelic" then the spelling is Conchubhair.
Why do we give middle names anyway?
Reply:I don't know if you're wanting to go with something unique or something traditional. If you want something unique, I love the name Connor Kaegan Henn. Or if you like the traditional, I would go with Connor James Henn or Connor William Henn. We kinda did both and named our son London William. Good luck!
