Can Milo be a nickname for Michael? i know that Mick, Mickey, Mike, Mikey can be but what about Milo?

Reply:i have never heard milo used for michael. but i have known a lot of milo's and you can make any nick name you want. i am called by my surname more than my first, my brother was called house for years and years much more than stevie and i call my little one monkey more than i call her madeline. you don't only choose the name but you can start their nick name as well.
Reply:I think you can use it, but Milo I think is a short form of some eastern european names. It's 2008 you can use it, no one is going to make a big deal out of it anyway.

Reply:Why not just name him Milo? I don't see where you'd get Milo from Michael. I hate when people name the kid one thing and call him by something different than the first name.
