Which two boys name do you prefer?
1st - Bennett Harper and Heath Whitney -- I really love the name Heath, but I feel that Whitney has become very, and I wouldn't use for a boy. Heath Sutton and Heath Sullivan work! Bennett isn't bad. He could be called Ben. :-)





2nd - Sutton Heath and Abram Bennett -- I'm not crazy about either name. I guess I like Sutton better than Abram, but I just can't picture someone with it as their name. It's better than Sullivan as well, I guess. I just don't like any of these names. Sorry.

Reply:This is a tough choice. I think I like Bennett Harper and Heath Whitney the best as a combination. They both have literary first names (that are very masculine) and softer-sounding middles, so they coordinate well. The names sound both modern and classic.





However, my favorite name from the list is probably Abram Bennett, but I'm not crazy about either Sutton Heath or Sullivan Heath. Sutton Heath makes me think of the Sutton Hoo ship buriel (too much Anglo-Saxon history in college, I guess):

Sullivan Heath isn't bad, but it just doens't "wow" me.
