Does Sage sound more like a boys name or girls?

I have heard it more for a boys name. Too me it doesn't sound too masculine. What do you think? Thanks!

Does Sage sound more like a boys name or girls?
I own a daycare center and I have had a girl named Sage and also a boy named Sage. It's just one of those gender neutral names that great with both genders. It's not too masculine or too feminine.

for a boy i hear it more and the ones I have met are all great thinkers and are very friendly/popular





for a girl I see it as kind of masculine but not too masculine, kind of tomboyish. Sort of like the Name Spencer on a girl.





If you name a baby boy sage you should make it's middle name Wyatt

I Think It Could Be Either.I Would Name A Guy That Though Because,It Gives Me A Feeling Of Hope,And You Could Just Flat Out Name A Girl Hope.

But then I thought and read some of the other answers, and they're right. It's kind of unisex, for both boys and girls.


But it does strike me as more girly.
