What do you think about my baby boys name?

What do you think about my baby boys name.?

Nikolas(Niko) Alpacino

My boyfriend decided that if I pick the first name he was going to pick the middle. So I like the name Niko, and I wanted to chang it up and have it Nikolas, Niko for short. THen he decided on Alpacino after his favorite actor Al Pacino.

WE LOVE it, but none of my family members do. what are your opinions?

What do you think about my baby boys name?

Hi Hun,

If you and your partner love it then who cares what everyone else thinks. It your baby so whatever makes you happy.

I like Niko although I would spell it Nico but not overly keen on Alpacino but thats just me!

Reply:The FULL first name is good and has a nice spelling to it. But why I think Niko sounds more like a girl's name than a guy's, I don't know.

As for the middle name, I'd like to ask you: would you name your daughter britneyspears as a middle name? With that, my suggestion is to come up with a more legitimate middle name that doesn't draw the wrong kind of attention from the baby's future peers.
Reply:You can't call him Alpacino. Everyone will laugh of him.

Because Alpacino isn't a name. Pacino is a last name.

Please, don't do that.

If your boyfriend is a huge fan of Pacino, then call your baby Alfredo James.

Also Nikolas Alfredo is good.

Reply:I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it lol.

I like Nikolas/Niko, but the Alpacino part is what I'm having a hard time digesting.

But you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks of it. We named our daughter Aislyn Nichole (pronounced Acelyn), and hardly anyone in our families liked it. I don't regret it at all =]

Good luck and congrats!!

Reply:Is it pronounced (Niko) or (Neeko)if its the later than its cool. Niko's cool but Alpacino, nothing i would choose. Don't worry about your family its your kid. Nobody will tease him. I knew a guy whose nickname was Niko nobody cared. They actually thought it was cool.
Reply:I like the name Nikolas and Niko is really cute.

To be honest, I think you're setting your child up for some ruthless teasing by choosing Alpacino. Maybe change it a little like Alcino? I dunno. I like the creativity but think it's a bad idea in the long run.
Reply:I would spell it Nicholas (Nico). Nikolas just doesn't look right. It will just be a hassle for your son if you spell it wrong. Other than that, I think it is fine. I think Nico is a great alternative nickname for Nicholas rather than Nick!
Reply:Not a huge fan.

I don't like Niko much. And although I love the name Nicholas, your chosen spelling seems tacky. Alpacino is strange.

Sorry if I sounded harsh, but you did ask.
Reply:not to thrilled it sounds made up stretching a little but it is a second name and he will be your child if you like it and feel good about it go for it. I would not
Reply:I do not care for Nikolas with the middle of Alpacino. How about

Anthony (Tony) Alpacino

Reply:I suggest watching the beginning of the movie Tropic Thunder before naming your boy Al Pacino. Just FYI. ;) Cute ideas...
Reply:If you guys like it, then why even care if some else does or not. Either way, they'll still love the baby, whether they like the name or not.
Reply:I like Nicholas spelled like this.

Alpacino is not a name, sorry. Go with Al if your boyfriend really cares about it.
Reply:I LOVE Niko!!! But alpacino is awful, im sorry! He is going to get teased i think its a disaster.
Reply:No offense, but that is a terrible name.

Doesn't even sound good together.
Reply:It is a nice name but i think the spelling should be Nicholas
Reply:Its okay
