What does everyone think of corinthian james for a boys name?

That's quite a handle for a little guy. It does have a certain dignified ring to it, but I agree with poster who suggested it might sound a bit too much like a girl's name............Cynthia? Karen? Corinne?





How about if you just used Corinth? Definitely sounds masculine (like Kenneth, eg.). Actually I think it's pretty cool!





Is James a firm choice for middle name?


Maybe if you used Corinth you'd want to consider a longer middle name, like Corinth Gregory or Corinth Daniel or something. Although I do think Corinth James sounds fine. And you could call him Cory. I know several boys with that name.

I'm a female and my name is Corinthian. I've met a male named Corinthian and he was called "Cori." I DO think it's more of a feminine sounding name, I guess because I'm a female. I absolutely LOVE my name and I would NEVER change it. So much better than any of the more common names. Report Abuse

There was a book in the Bible CALLED Corinthian, because the city of Corinth was such a wretched and sinful city that a letter was written to them to teach them how to be right, and was then put into the Bible.
Reply:Personally, I hate it. Corinthian? Why not Leviticus? WHy not Judges James.....or Genesis James. Stop and think if YOU would like to go through life with the name Corinthian......think of elementary and high school especailly.
