What do you think of the boys' name Micah?

How about the nickname Mickey for it? Of course, that would just be for a little boy...

Reply:i know a little boy named micah and its a nice name but i dont think mickey is a good nickname. it dont really have anything to do with micah except the mic. i could see mike but not mickey. do you mean mickey as in the disney mouse or mikey? But name your child whatever you like. i just posted a question about a baby girl name (20 weeks along with her) and nobody liked it, but its our choice. answer my baby name question....
Reply:I love the name Micah. Don't make a nickname for it, its already short enough...and Mickey just doesn't seem to fit as a nickname anyways. Don't bother with a nickname, Micah is nice enough as it is!
Reply:It's an Old Testament name, and it sounds very old fashioned. How about Jesse, Joseph, David, or James for a biblical name and Shane for a non-biblical name.

Reply:I like it. I know a couple of geologists who named their son Micah as well. However, why bother with a nickname? Makes no sense.
Reply:I think that Micah is a good strong name. I have known two Micah's in my lifetime and neither ever said they wished their parents had named them something else.
